SipStory ("we", "us") operates sipstory.com.au, an Australian wine-deal comparison site. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we handle it, consistent with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. It is operated by SipStory (ABN 77 071 572 953).

What we collect

• Email address — only when you set a price alert. We use it solely to email you about the wine(s) you asked us to watch.
• Alert preferences — the wine and target price you choose.
• Basic usage data — standard server logs and aggregate analytics (pages viewed, device type) to keep the site working and improve it. We do not use this to identify you.

How we use it

To send the price-drop alerts you requested, to operate and improve the site, and to keep it secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing you didn't ask for.

Affiliate links & third parties

SipStory links out to third-party wine retailers. When you click a deal, you leave our site and the retailer's own privacy policy applies. Some links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy — this never changes your price, and clicking may set cookies operated by the retailer or its affiliate network. We use Vercel (hosting), Neon (database) and Resend (email delivery) as service providers to run SipStory; your alert email is stored and processed by these providers on our behalf.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your email and alerts at any time — just contact us. Every alert email also tells you how to stop.

Security & changes

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
